Terms and Conditions

1.      Campaign Overview

This document outlines the terms and conditions (T&C) for the "Fenner Conveyors’ Rising Woman in Mining Bursary" competition (the "Competition") offered by Fenner Conveyors via AusIMM. By participating in this Competition, you (the "Entrant") agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2.      Objective

The competition aims to support greater diversity and inclusion in the resources sector. 

Terms and Conditions:

  • Eligible entrants are automatically entered into the competition (subject to criteria) by the submission of an abstract for the AusIMM New Leaders Summit 2024 under the Diversity & Inclusion theme. Applicants do not need to submit a separate application.
  • Bursary Recipient must be available to attend the New Leaders Summit taking place in Brisbane on 4-5 September 2024.
  • The Recipient of the 2024 Fenner Conveyors’ Rising Woman in Mining Bursary is required to write an article post-event detailing their time and experience at the Summit.
  • The Recipient gives AusIMM and Fenner Conveyors the right to share photographs and biography of winner for scholarship promotion, and related content, at any given time.
  • Recipient must cover all travel expenses incurred, including accommodation.
  • The Recipient of the bursary will be notified ahead of the New Leaders Summit.

3.  The prize

Fenner Conveyors are offering to gift the Author of the best written abstract in the Diversity and Inclusion theme a delegate pass to attend the New Leaders Summit in Brisbane. The prize is not transferrable. 

4.      Eligibility

Entrants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Entrant must be a woman in the mining industry currently living in Australia.
  • Entrant must be studying or in the first five years of their resources career.
  • Entrant must attend the New Leaders Summit 2024.

5.      Competition period

The competition will run between 3 April 2024 to 13 May 2024.

6.      Additional Information:

  • AusIMM reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, including extending the competition period, at any time without prior notice.
  • Any suspected fraudulent activity or violation of these terms may result in disqualification from the competition.
