Start meaningful conversations. Drive small, actionable change.
These conversation starters are designed to spark discussion, reflection, and simple actions that contribute to a more inclusive, supportive, and positive workplace. Use them in team meetings, toolbox talks, lunch-and-learns, or mentoring sessions.
1. Diversity and inclusion awareness
- What’s one small change we could make this week to ensure everyone feels included?
- Whose perspective haven’t we considered lately, and how can we create space for it?
2. Everyday behaviours and culture
- Think about your daily interactions — what’s one thing we could do differently to make the workplace more respectful?
- Are there team habits that might unintentionally exclude someone? How could we adjust them?
3. Mentoring and career support
- Is there someone on the team who could benefit from guidance or support? How could we help?
- What opportunities exist to help colleagues develop skills or explore new roles?
