Dr. Hosseinzadehsabeti, known to her colleagues as Ellie, is a leading Orebody Knowledge Expert at Veracio. Ellie's journey in geology and mining began in her hometown of Tehran, Iran, and led her to the United States, where she earned her Ph.D. in Earth and Energy Sciences. She also holds a BSc and MSc in mining engineering and mineral exploration.
As an educator and researcher, she has been at the forefront of pioneering projects in the mining sector. Her work encompasses optimizing the mining value chain, developing geometallurgical programs, and tackling the complexities of orebody modeling.
In a notable collaboration with Harvard University's Mineralogical and Geological Museum in 2021, Ellie played a key role in cataloging critical and reference minerals. This contribution aimed to enhance understanding within scientific and industrial communities regarding the diverse applications of these mineral classes. Her industry credentials are just as impressive, with hands-on roles ranging from underground mine geologist to leading orebody intelligence R&D projects.
But at heart, Ellie is a true geologist who finds joy in the beauty of gemstones and mineral art. She believes in the harmonious blend of human creativity, scientific inquiry, and the natural world, a sentiment she expresses through her love for mineral art.
