Julie Truss

General Manager Operations, and Chair of Weir Womens Network, Weir

Julie, a qualified engineer joined Weir Minerals in 2002 and has held a variety of roles including Territory Manager, Product Manager, Integrated Solutions Manager, and more recently General Manager Sales East before moving to her current role at the beginning of 2023.

In August 2022, Julie led the establishment of the Global Weir Women’s Network (WWN) Australian chapter – an affinity group dedicated to the attraction, retention and continued development of women in Weir. Thereafter Julie was voted Chair of the Australian chapter of the WWN.

Julie's unwavering commitment and authentic dedication to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in her role are noteworthy, complemented by her successful career in the industry that has spanned over two decades!
