Introduction

The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (ABN 59 836 002 494) (“AusIMM”, “we”, “our” and “us”) is the peak body representing all professionals in the global resources sector. We are an international institution committed to responsible privacy practices and managing personal information in accordance with the relevant local privacy and data protection laws which apply to us such as the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”), the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and other local applicable privacy laws. GDPR clauses only apply to the extent that the GDPR itself applies to an individual and a particular type of processing.

This Privacy Policy sets out our policies on the management of personal information including how we collect personal information, the purposes for which we use this information, and to whom this information is disclosed.
